Providing a local oscillator frequency at half the RF, our mixers are an economical solution to mm-wave and THz systems. Local oscillator power requirements range from +3 to +10 dBm, depending on the desired performance. Conversion loss is optimized for fixed LO powers, and the specifications apply without impractical LO optimization. With an intermediate frequency (IF) up to 40 GHz, these mixers represent state of the art performance. Integrated modules with internal RF, IF or LO chains are available. Narrow-band units may be tailored for higher frequencies and performance in restricted bands, for example in space borne spectroscopy applications.
