
Precision gold plated copper or copper alloy waveguide terminations with frequency coverage from 75 GHz to 1.1 THz. Specifically fabricated for THz calibration applications, these terminations offer low VSWR and certified performance. Manufactured to high precision with standard lengths of 35 mm. Fitted with IEEE 1785.2 flanges above 300 GHz for lowest loss and minimal reflection. Complete calibration kits with straight sections, shorts, quarter wave shims and waveguide loads are available to order.

1. New waveguide definitions are in use above 110 GHz, as defined by IEEE standards up to 1.1 THz.
2. Terminations are machined from solid brass and gold plated.
3. There are variations in industry 'standard' flanges. Above 300 GHz we fit additional dowel pins as per IEEE 1785.2 unless otherwise requested.
4. Waveguide WR03 historically covers 220-325 GHz, whereas the new standard WM-864 extends coverage to 220 – 330 GHz
5. Standard terminations are 35 mm long. Custom lengths and materials are available to order.
6. How to make a request: specify Model number eg. THZWGT-05 is a WR5.1/WM-1295 termination of length 35 mm.
